here are some pics from our first trip to the snow! we were able to spend some time over easter break up in tahoe with the moss family. this was grace's first time in the snow as well as her first long car ride. we were a bit nervous about the drive, but grace was awesome and slept the entire way there and back! very impressive considering her normal dislike of the car. the weather was chilly, but sunny and gorgeous. grace didn't seem to mind being bundled up, except that it made sucking on her hands tricky (her new favorite thing). the highlight of our trip was grace's skiing excursion with mark. he zipped her up in his sweatshirt, left his poles behind so that he could hold on to gracie, and they skied down a little hill and then rode back up on the chair lift. mark even skied backwards so that the wind wouldn't blow in her face...such a kind daddy. we are happy to announce that grace is now officially the youngest wilkes to have ever been on skis! she'll probably be pro by next year.
